Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, casino parties are legal. We offer an “entertainment based”, no real money casino experience. We are also registered with the State of California as a legal party supply gaming operation. You can feel assured that your event is a legitimate event and that we will provide you a risk free night of gaming. We do have insurance – general, auto, and worker’s comp (available upon request).
In most cases, yes. In fact, we do several events for schools and churches where children are the main players. Our dealers are patient and willing to help the kids learn how to play and have a great time.
Once you book with us, expect clear communication and have all of your questions answered BEFORE your event starts. The week of the event we will send you a clear, written casino timeline that includes the set up times, guest arrival time, casino start time, casino end time, and break down times.
We provide professional quality casino tables and professional dealers who are trained to entertain AND teach your guests the casino games and provide a fun atmosphere. Perfect for any private needs, fundraiser, and corporate event.
We can offer a casino night for a small gathering, a poker tournament (with tournament director) for your fundraising/team building needs, or a large scale casino night.
We provide the most common games such as blackjack, craps, roulette, and poker; as well as specialty games such as 3-card poker, let-it-ride, baccarat, pai gow, and ultimate texas hold’em.
On the event day, you will have already received an event timeline that states when the delivery crew is set to arrive. When we are en route, we will text you our ETA for your comfort. We will arrive and have everything completely set up at least a half hour BEFORE the casino start time (meaning we typically arrive at least an hour and a half before the start time to set everything up).
Our event leader will be in contact with your event point person and will once again, ensure all of the planned details are accurate and make changes, if needed. Before the event starts we will have already provided you with funny money bills for everyone in attendance to play with (typically passed out at the check in or their arrival of the party). Just like at a Vegas table, the guests turn in the “cash” and they receive their playing chips. They will use those throughout the night. Once we have called last hand (typically 15 minutes before the contracted end time), we ask the players to turn in their chips. Typically there are prizes at the end of a casino night and they can be distributed in one of two ways:
1: For every set amount of chips they have (typically 100 or 500 in chips), they get a raffle ticket. And we round up. So lets say it was 1 ticket for every 100 and a guest had 825 in chips, they would receive 9 raffle tickets. No need to worry, we do provide the raffle tickets as well. This is our preferred method of handling prizes.
2: We can have a “top chip” prize winner. Whoever has the most chips, they receive a raffle prize (or first pick of prizes) and it can go to any number of positions (as long as there is enough prizes). This method is not as preferred as it can be a “popularity contest” if there are guests who leave early for any reason.
After the casino closes and prizes are dealt with, we typically begin the break down process and start breaking down the casino equipment. After everything is broken down and our staff has departed, we will follow up via email by the following business day to ensure everything was to your satisfaction, or address any comments or concerns that you have.
Tipping is completely optional. But as an added reference, the dealers at your casino party are service people just like waiters and bartenders at a restaurant. They provide a service for you just as they would in an actual casino and tipping is generally based on the level of that service. Unlike an actual casino, the chips have no cash value and therefore players cannot use them as money to tip the dealer. It typically becomes the option of the host.
Reference: Between January – November, if dealers receive tips, the average ranges from $20-50/dealer.
While we do typically offer discounts for various reasons, we do not offer a discount for a shorter event. Typically shorter event discounts are possible by cutting the dealer’s pay. We value our employees’ travel time and expertise to arrive to your event, look great, and entertain/teach your guests throughout the night. So please, take advantage of our timeline. And if you need an event for longer than 4 hours, we can definitely accommodate that as well.
Yes, you can order 1 table, 2 tables, 3 tables, or more. We can service a single table event, and have serviced events with over 30 tables.
While we do rent out our equipment without our dealers. We recommend that you do hire our dealers for difficult games like craps and roulette. They can be overwhelming and our dealers are capable hands to help you for your event. Renting just our equipment with limited or no dealers will require an additional security deposit. Cigar burns, wine stains, or any damage to the equipment will result in a forfeiture of your deposit.
We take a 25% retainer/deposit for all of our events. We will make adjustments, move the balance to a future date or issue a full refund if the event is changed, postponed, or canceled at least 14 days prior to the event, 30 days for a large event (has 8 or more dealers) or any December event. However, if the event is postponed, changed, or canceled after the deadline, we will keep the 25% deposit. Lastly, if the event is canceled due to force majeure (or COVID lock-down), we will move the balance to a future date or issue a full refund.
